Apply within 72 hours of your departure, not before it wont let you.
Please use this link as there is a lot of scam websites out there. Your visa should only cost you around $50 AUD. Official Website to apply is:
https://allindonesia.imigrasi.go.id/
Tips:
Use a smartphone to apply as it needs a camera to take a photo of your passport.
Follow these steps:
- Scan your passport and make sure all the imported details are correct.
-Enter your travel details, including arrival date, departure date(choose the calendar icon to select your travel date, don’t enter manually as it reverts to the wrong date) and whether you already have a visa (select no for this). Flying into Bali select Bandara Internasional Ngurah Rai airport or
I Gusti Ngurah Rai.
- Complete the health declaration. You’ll receive a QR code, make sure you screenshot and save it to show when required through customs.
- You’ll will then have the option to apply for a B1 Visa on Arrival (VOA) for each person and pay directly through the site. This is around $50 AUD per person.
Please remember to check over all your information to make sure it's correct.
- Generally issued instantly or within 24 hours. Recommend to screen shot your application number and check junk or spam folder in case you need to follow up on anything. Once issued it is valid for 90 days to enter Indonesia for a 30 day stay.
- No need to print. Just pop your passport in the e-Gate as instructed and your e-VOA is linked. If you’re paying on arrival head to the first lot of counters before the e-Gates.
* Please note children under 6 can not use the e-gates yet and will need to be processed manually at the counter.**
Be sure to also use the now functioning e-Gates when DEPARTING Bali, which are to the right of desk area at Immigration. This will reset your e-VOA and ensure you can apply again without any issues of still having an ‘active’ one.
** PLEASE NOTE THE TOUISM LEVY OF $15 NEEDS TO BE PAID SEPERATLEY TO THE VOA! INFO & LINK BELOW **
Important Travel Reminder: PASSPORTS!
Please ensure that your passport has at least 6 months validity beyond your travel date. Bali is very strict with this and you will be refused entry if your passport expires in less than 6 months from your entry date.
As a form of support that aims to protect the customs, traditions, arts and culture, and local wisdom of the Balinese people. Bali has imposed an approx. $15 levy for the international tourist. It can be paid online at https://lovebali.baliprov.go.id/
There is also a new Love Bali desk as you exit the airport if you would prefer to pay in person.
